Kerry Is Queen Of The Jungle
Kerry McFadden has been crowned Queen of the Jungle in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! reality TV show. The former Atomic Kitten star beat ex-BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond, who came second, and Aussie singer Peter Andre, who was a surprise third.
She is expected to rake in up to ?2m in big money deals for interviews, photoshoots and TV appearances.
The 23-year-old cried and clasped her hand to her mouth after hearing she had won the show that has gripped millions of viewers.
The star emerged from the jungle in tears and struggled to get out her words as she sipped champagne and spoke to hosts Ant and Dec.
"It's brilliant. I love you all. We're all winners," she shouted to her fellow contestants.
And she admitted: "I thought we were just going to get drunk all day. I didn't see all of the last series.
"I thought I would get voted out and just go out (and get drunk) with you two."
More than three million viewers voted in the final show and more than ?1m was raised for charity.
Kerry was the bookies' favourite over the weekend to take the title.
She grimaced as she watched footage of her and Jordan downing insects and grubs during a Bushtucker Trial.
"I'm a whimp," she conceded. "I could not have done it without Kate (Jordan).
As Kerry's tears finally dried, the floodgates opened again as hubby Bryan appeared on the jungle stage - she had been told he could not make Australia because of work commitments.
The two hugged emotionally and the Westlife singer looked close to tears.
Earlier, Andre was voted off as the third-placed contestant.
His on-off relationship with Jordan has been the talk of the tabloids during the two-week show.
The model announced after her jungle eviction she was dumping boyfriend Chris - but did not say whether she and pop hunk Andre would make an item.
"We really need to talk," Andre told Ant and Dec.
"She is a lovely girl. She just happens to be attractive as well. I want to say so much but I want to talk to her first

FROM KITTEN TO QUEEN
Kerry McFadden was an early favourite to be voted off I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Her frequent sobbing bouts during the first few days in the jungle endeared her to the viewing public.
The former Atomic Kitten was on the verge of quitting the jungle camp more than once.
She found the conditions hard and was pining for husband Bryan and her daughters Molly, three, and Lily Sue, who was one last week.
But she stuck it out to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Fairytale
Kerry, 23, overcame an unhappy childhood to become a member of the top-selling girl band and marry Westlife star Bryan.
Her mother was in an abusive relationship and fled to women's refuges with Kerry on more than one occasion.
Kerry was taken into care at 13, lived with four sets of foster parents and went to eight different schools.
"It was a hard childhood but that made me even more determined to succeed," she once said.
Her fortunes changed when she joined Atomic Kitten in 1999 alongside Natasha Hamilton and Liz McLarnon.
They had five hits, including the number one smash Whole Again, but Kerry quit at the height of their success after meeting Bryan.
Pregnant
She fell pregnant with daughter Molly and the couple got engaged soon after.
In January 2002 they had a fairytale wedding at Slane Castle in Ireland.
But their relationship hit trouble after tabloid revelations about Bryan's alleged encounter with a lapdancer on his stag night.
Kerry forgave him and the couple's second daughter was born last year.
Since leaving Atomic Kitten, she has worked as a TV presenter.

BUBBLY blonde Kerry McFadden last night celebrated becoming Queen of the Jungle by heading straight for bed with her hubby Bryan.
Kerry, 23, screamed with delight when Westlife hunk Bryan turned up to surprise her after she romped to victory in I’m A Celebrity.
The shocked star squealed out “Oh my God” before jumping up and giving him a massive snog and a hug.
Bryan, 23, was obviously keen to make up for lost time after his wife’s fortnight in the Australian jungle.
As he waited to meet Kerry, he said: “It’s been the longest two weeks of my life and I can’t wait to get her back in my arms and then get her into bed.
We’ve got a lot of catching up to do. I’ve really missed her since she’s been in the jungle but I’m really proud of her.”
The couple were in the mood to celebrate after Kerry became the first woman to win I’m A Celebrity.
The mum of two beat former royal reporter Jennie Bond in a showdown — after third-placed Peter Andre was voted off.
An estimated 13 MILLION viewers tuned in to last night’s final, making it the biggest reality game show in TV history. More than THREE MILLION people voted.
Kerry screamed “Oh my God — I’m gobsmacked” when hosts Ant and Dec announced she was the winner.
She then started speaking to Bryan on the phone, thinking he was on tour with his band. When he suddenly appeared at her prize-giving ceremony, she burst into tears.
As the couple embraced, Bryan said: “She’s been absolutely fabulous.”
Kerry thanked viewers after finding out she had helped to raise nearly £1million for charity, along with all the other celebs.
She said: “I can’t believe I’ve got so far, thank you so much.”
Earlier, the former Atomic Kitten star had left the jungle camp a bit tipsy after downing a glass of wine.
She then let out a loud belch on live TV as she sat on her Queen of the Jungle throne, with a tiara on her head, sipping a glass of champagne.
She said: “Never in a million years did I think I’d win.
“I’m numb, I can’t feel my legs. It feels really surreal, like a fantasy.”
Kerry praised all her fellow celebs and said she would not have got through her two weeks in the jungle without them.
After looking at her worst challenge, where she was made to eat bugs alongside Jordan, she said: “I look like a seal,” as she clapped her hands in front of the camera.
She added: “I wouldn’t have eaten any if Katie (Jordan) wasn’t there. They tasted like c**p, c**p.”
Incredibly, Kerry had been close to quitting I’m A Celebrity early on.
She desperately missed Bryan and her daughters Molly, three, and Lily Sue, who was one last week, and suffered a panic attack when she was forced to do a Bushtucker Trial.
Viewers also saw her break down in her final challenge last night — refusing to be showered in cockroaches.
But Kerry knows how to tough things out. She was taken into care at 13, lived with four sets of foster parents and went to eight different schools.
Runner-up Jennie last night paid tribute to Kerry, saying: “It’s girl power. At last we finally have a Queen of the Jungle. Kerry is a baby, just a sweet kid.”
Jennie also admitted: “I did ask the Queen to vote for me.” And backing up The Sun’s story that Her Majesty is a big fan of the show, she said: “I know she watches the show, she must have had a laugh at my expense.”
After the final, rude Lord Brocket apologised to Jennie for calling her “an old slapper”. She coolly replied: “I heard you were being nasty.”
Peter Andre was the first celebrity to be voted off last night.
He said: “It’s been the best experience I have ever had. It’s changed me so much. I poured out every part of my personality.”
But the last word was definitely Kerry’s. Asked what sort of queen she would be, she said: “I’d be the most common queen in the world!”
